My cilantro cashew cream recipe is one of my go-to spreads to make. Nutty, fresh, and creamy? Not to mention how you can whip up in only five minutes. This dip is so easy and perfect for fresh veggies or to put out as a snack or appetizer.

Cashews are one of my favorite nuts – packed with healthy fats and when blended they create a deliciously smooth texture. Mix them with fresh ingredients like lemons, cilantro and garlic and voila – this cashew cream is the perfect dip to have in the fridge.

How to Make This Cashew Cream

  1. Soak your cashews in advance in cold water for 2 – 4 hours.
  2. Into a high-speed blender, add all of the ingredients.
  3. Blend until smooth and completely creamy.
  4. Add more water if needed to make sure your blender actually blends.
  5. Serve with pasta, orzo, tortilla chips, or prepared fresh veggies! TASTY!

If you’re sensitive to cashews, use an alternate nut or seed, like sunflower seeds or almonds!

Add any of your favourite spices, herbs, or even use flavoured olive oil.

This is so DELICIOUS- you can literally add it to anything! Even enjoy this on top of your nachos OR tacos.

Store the cilantro cream in the fridge for 5 – 6 days in a large airtight jar.

  • 1 ½ cups cashews soaked
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder OR 2-3 large cloves
  • 2 tbsp. nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp. cracked pepper
  • Juice of 1 ½ limes small
  • ½ cup cold water

Instructions
