Why you’ll love these holiday cheeseboards:

  • Versatile: Add any ingredients you love to your cheeseboard. Make it your own or use what you have on hand
  • Impressive: Cheeseboards can look so beautiful on the table at your holiday gathering

Ingredient Notes:

Chai Almonds: Nuts are a great addition to holiday cheeseboards. I love to buy gourmet, flavorful nuts for a little flavor and crunch. For this cheeseboard, I used Sante Nuts Chai Almonds. These are like a creamy cup of chai wrapped up in a crunchy nut. They’re roasted to perfection and seasoned with a sweet blend of spices.

Cheese: I love to put brie and gouda on my holiday cheeseboards but you can use whatever cheeses you like. It’s always nice to have a bit of variety. For example, if you have one strong cheese, try to pair it with something lighter so there is something for everyone on the board.

How to make holiday cheeseboards:

  1. To make the crostini, preheat the oven to 400F. Using a bread knife, slice the baguette into 1-inch thick slices. Brush the baguette slices with olive oil on one side and place in a single layer on a baking sheet. Toast for 10 minutes total, flipping halfway through. Set aside.
  2. To make the cheeseboard, start by arranging the two types of cheese on your cheeseboard and then begin to fill in the remaining space with the rest of your ingredients.
  3. Next place jams around the board in small bowls.
  4. Add in the crackers and crostini around the board.
  5. Then fill in with olives and the Sante Nuts chai almonds.
  6. Finally finish with pickled vegetables and roasted garlic.
  7. Use my cheeseboard photos to help guide your design or go with your own creative presentation! Also don’t worry about fitting everything on the cheeseboard to start with; you can always refill when needed. And of course, if you want to substitute for any favorite ingredients, definitely do so!

Not a fan of pickled vegetables? Try adding in some seasonal fruit instead like pears, figs, grapes, or citrus.

What’s a substitute for brie? If you’re looking for cheese to substitute for brie, try goat cheese. If you’d like to use something other than gouda, try an old cheddar cheese.

Jams: Other delicious jams you could try are fig, cranberry, or blueberry.
